Endectomorph   /ɛndɛktoʊmɔːrf/   n.  1 (Biology) A hypothetical body type combining characteristics of both endomorphic and ectomorphic physiques, featuring a mix of fat storage tendencies and lean musculature.  2 (Psychology) A personality type characterized by a balance between internal focus (introspection, intuition) and external orientation (social interaction, sensory experiences).

This is not a word. Claude.ai wrote it above. Well ok, it wasn’t a word, but now it is – since Kevin Sun founded Endectomorph Music in 2015, Brooklyn, to dedicate it to creative improvised music [ref]. Kevin Sun himself is an exceptional composer and saxophone player. But Endectomorph is more than him - they have such an amazing collection of jazz music, and that’s why I secretly call him the Brooklyn Jazz Mogul.. hahah!

As an impatient person, I wouldn’t go through their collection this time. Please don’t worry! You have a much better way to dig into them… by coming to The Gallery … this weekend!

As not-quite-clearly shown in this ticket link, this Fri-Sat is the Endectomorph Music Festival at The Jazz Gallery (27th / Broadway). And this is a great deal!

As not-at-all-clearly indicated in the link, on each day, you get three shows for just one ticket. Each band will be at 7:30 / 8:30 / 9:30 PM. So, $25 per ticket means about $8 per show, which is about $1 per song, which is, well, if you can do the math, about 50¢ per half a song. You’ll realize it is really truly a steal when you listen to the best jazz musicians of the current era.. the great Jazz Royal Jellies! 🍯🎷

(If this sounds too healthy for you, they also have some wines and soda.)

I’ll be on both of the days (and maybe selling some merch), and so are many other jazz bees (probably not the merch selling part though). So -

See you there then!
